Angry Face Logo Photoshop Tutorial

Create a very interesting angry face logo.
1. Open a new document.
2. Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool, hold the Shift key(this will draw a circle and not a elipse) and make a selection, then fill it with black, like this:
3. With the selection still active(if not active anymore, hold Ctrl and click on the circle layer) go to Select>>Modify>>Contract, set it to 5 pixels and hit OK.
4. Now create a new layer, and fill it with color (I used #3399FE).

How i do “Gradient Fill” ?
I have Photoshop 7.0.1…

@Dark Shadow: in the Tools window,right click on the Paint Bucket Tool and there you will see Gradient Tool. And below the menu, you will see the gradient settings.

Hey, nice tutorial…but how do i get the “Gradient Fill”???
HEy its great tutorial, but how do u get Gradient fill??? like the first box, how do u get that box??
Layer -> New Fill Layer-> Gradient
=> Is this the right way to (i get the same dialogue)
-> Note to step 8 => you must make a selection like that and than right click and chose “Transform selection”
If its good click on te “V” sign on the top.

when i do gradient fill second time, my black area also gets lighter,but i dont think its supose to, and my blue area gets much lighter than yours. Can u tell me why if u can?? ..Thx
