Animated Shining Text Effect Photoshop Tutorial

Create a great looking animated shining text effect:
1. Open a new document or an image you want to use as background.
2. Write your text and then create a new layer, click on this new created layer and then hit Ctrl+E(this will merge the newly created blank layer with the black selection layer).
3. Create a new layer, use the Gradient Tool and make a gradient bar like this:
4. Now left click on the gradient layer and hit Ctrl+G.

how do u move the gradient bar
can not get gradient to make a small line it covers whole photo I am using Adobe CS2
