How to make a sun the easy and simple way in PhotoshopThere are lots of tutorials about making a sun, but most of them are very difficult for the beginner in Photoshop. This one is actually easy and simple so that even a beginner can achieve the result desired.

1. Start by choosing a round soft brush. First, you have to create a large coloured dot, then make a white dot in the middle of it to get a glowing effect.

2. Select the smudge tool and with a soft brush, start smudging both clockwise and counter clockwise inside the glow.

3. Duplicate the layer (Layer -> Duplicate Layer) and select Soft light as blending mode.

4.Go to the Brushes tab, then to Texture and click on the pattern picker. Choose the blistered paint texture and press D to restore the default colors. Create a new layer(Layer -> New ->Layer), match the size of the brush with your sun then click once on the sun. Set the blending mode to Overlay and it’s ready.
