Sometimes, an image is worth a thousand words, so here you have it - if you were impressed by that good looking text used by Apple for QuickTime and some of their Mac commercials, now it’s the time to be amazed how easy can we create something like it in Photoshop!

The result

1. Create a new document, and use any settings you want. If you’re a beginner and unsure about what to use, you can see mine below.

2. Add some text using any font you wish, but be sure to use #0681C1 as text color.

3. Right click the text layer and choose Blending Options.

4. Add Bevel and Emboss using the settings in the screenshot below.

5. Now, add Stroke. My settings are below.

6. You can stop here, or maybe try adding some shadows…

7. …and then enjoy your result, maybe save the layer style too, so that you can use it again in the future.
