This tutorial will show you how you can make a picture of your own pet (dog, cat or wwhatever) in the rain, without getting even a drop of water on your favourite friend.
2. Click Filter→Render→Clouds, then change the opacity of the layer to 50.
3. Go to Filter→Noise and select Add Noise. Make sure you have Gaussian and Monochromatic selected.

4. Click Filter→Blur→Motion Blur. In this case, the angle was set to 80 and the distance to 10 pixels, but you can change these values in order to achieve the desired effect.

5. In the layer palette, set the blend mode to Screen.

6. Now you can see the effect you were going for by making our puppy a wet one:

To mkae it more realistic…you should have selected the ground and should have made it shiny…just a thought
